From the composer: Duet for Bb Clarinet and Violin is a short, 2.5', work. It was originally written as contribution to a group of musicians that gathered at friends homes in the Salt Lake City area to play chamber music. I very much enjoy a Mozart violin duet that I had heard at the same gathering. This work tries to capture the light, friendly, and sometimes serious nature of conversations between friends.
