Michael Ozment
Michael Ozment brings over two decades of knowledge and experience as an audio and video engineer and a lifetime of musical experience to each client and project. A hornist, Michael holds Bachelor and Masters degrees in music and carved a career path in audio engineering and arts administration. A recent transplant to the Charlottesville area, Michael spent six years as the Production Manager then General Manager of Spivey Hall in Atlanta where he was also the audio recording engineer for the venue. Prior to that, he was the Stage Manager for the University of Georgia Performing Arts Center in Athens. He specializes in on-location audio recording of classical, jazz, and world music from soloists to large ensembles and particularly enjoys working with clients who are new to the experience of audio recording. The philosophy of Polymnia is “the right room and the right microphones in the right place”.
