Premiered by the Luther College Collegiate Chorale, this new setting of text by Maltbie D. Babcock (1858-1901) begins slowly and reverently, but quickly speeds up. It features jazz harmonies and a light, joyous texture throughout and concludes with voices adding to the texture in succession, culminating in a tremendous eight-part chord. Medium difficulty.
